We are physicians travelling to Uganda in July to assess the medical needs of the orphans throughout the country, but primarily in war-torn northern Uganda.
We agreed in March 2007 to travel with Fr. Don to provide medical care for children in several orphanages. Most of our time will be spent in Gulu at St. Monica's Tailoring School for Girls (see links).
The purposes of this weblog are to keep our family and friends informed about our mission trip, and to raise awareness of the plight of the Ugandan people.
Our deepest thanks go out to all our family, friends, and colleagues who have given us tremendous support in the planning of our trip, and have blessed us with prayers for our journey.
